Daniella is a freelance producer and independent filmmaker currently residing on Bowen Island, just outside of Vancouver BC. She is the creator of Feral Culture Labs; a unique production company that specializes in raising awareness for crucial issues, non-profits and cultural events. She is also the founder of Bowen Island Film Camp; a hands on filmmaking camp for youth and seniors.
She is a writer, director and producer and is currently in post-production on Red Skirt is an experimental video based on a poem by Ariel O’Sullivan. Daniella is currently in pre-production on The Robber Bridegroom - an adaptation of a Grimm's Fairytale and is writing a web-series based on the comedies and tragedies of life in a small island community.
Daniella has over 5 years experience producing union and non-union productions for TV, radio, online and mobile media. Her specialty are low-budget productions where creativity, resourcefulness and problem-solving are the crucial elements in the production.
She has produced award winning case-studies and advertising for DDB Vancouver and Rethink Canada. Campaigns have included: Canadian Tourism Commission, Sun-Rype, BC Hydro, Health Sciences Association of British Columbia, Playland, Science World, Alzheimer Society of BC, Mr Lube, The Source, The United Mission and The Salvation Army.
